Polish Government Honours Community Volunteers in Adelaide
The highest Polish Government Honours for Outstanding Community Work (Gold Cross of Merit), http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross_of_Merit_(Poland) were presented in Adelaide, Dom Polski, on 29 June 2013 on behalf of the Polish President, by the Consul General for the Republic of Poland in Australia, Mr Daniel Gromann and the Honorary Consul for Poland in South Australia, Ms Gosia Hill.
The recipients were:
Ms Marysia Hock, who actively promotes Polish culture and commerce through her tourism agency Contal Adelaide, http://contaladelaide.com.au/ and her voluntary commitment on several Committees, including the Presidency of the DOZYNKI FESTIVAL.
Ms Joanna and Mr Marek Trepa, for their international promotion of “Brand Poland” through tireless work as instructors, choreographers and managers of the world renowned, Adelaide’s own TATRY Ensemble http://www.tatry.org.au/
