Poland’s car production grows 22.7pct y/y in Feb.

Poland’s February car production increased by 22.7% in annual terms to 61,587 passenger cars and vans, automotive market research institute Samar said in its most recent report.
In monthly terms, production rose 14%, the report showed.
February marked the first month of production of GM’s Opel Cascada for the Australian market (under the Holden Cascada brand), Samar said. As a result, Opel Poland’s production grew by 116% y/y in February, Samar said.
