NAK Trio Adelaide Concert 7 June 2017
The Australian debut: A charismatically unconventional outfit at the forefront of the Polish jazz scene. The members of the NAK Trio Jacek Kochan, Dominik Wania, and Michal Kapczuk will enchant jazz music lovers at the Brighton Concert Hall. Far from the classic A-A-B-A jazz pattern, NAK Trio compositions are based on masters of 20th century classical modernism: the Hungarian Béla Bartók as well as Polish compatriots Witold Lutoslawski and Tomasz Stanko. On their way to the Melbourne Jazz Festival, they are stopping in Adelaide for one night only to honour the Polish Constitution Day in the presence of the Consul of Poland for South Australia.
