Polish companies invest abroad

Polish companies’ foreign investments rose 150 times since Poland joined the EU in 2004, reaching PLN 93 billion at the end of 2015 versus PLN 600 million in 2004, the daily Rzeczpospolita writes.
Poland has a lot of projects in Central and Eastern Europe as Polish companies are rather regional firms than global powerhouses, head of research company Seendico and SGH Warsaw School of Economics lecturer Mariusz Radlo says.
Poland will be supporting Polish companies’ international expansion on five markets outside the EU with a special 3-year promotion program covering Algeria, India, Mexico, Vietnam and Iran, where new Foreign Commercial Offices will be opened, Ministry of Development informs.
