Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) community update no. 17

Dear Community Leaders,

On Friday the Prime Minister and Premier announced Australia’s recovery plan from Covid-19.

The recovery relies on official health advice, high levels of testing and ensuring people download and use the CovidSafe tracing app. The Prime Minister’s media statement can be seen below:

Each state is responsible for introducing measures in line with the national framework. To ensure your communities do not experience any confusion please direct people to the South Australian website below which outlines the plans for the easing of restrictions in South Australia.

Racism has no place in Australia – translated factsheets

The Department has prepared and translated factsheets entitled “Racism has no place in Australia”. The factsheets encourage people to report incidents of racism, whether you experience it yourself or are witness to it, and how to report it.
